In the latest version Update 1.9 of Assetto Corsa Competizione, you will find significant changes to the physics with countless improvements, new liveries from 2023 season and the Mercedes AMG GT3 EVO updated.

IMPROVED PHYSICS
This update offers a wide range of benefits to simracers, including a wider pressure range and temperature operation window. With lower pressures, you’ll enjoy more traction and flexibility, while higher pressures offer better precision and lateral support.
The new physics engine also allows for more rotation, eliminating the need for negative toe setups. Different alignment choices significantly influence tire heat generation, and varying pressures can generate varying amounts of flex and rotation, resulting in a dynamic and customizable driving experience.
You’ll also notice better mechanical grip, predictable handling, less heat stress on tires, and a more stable aerodynamic balance with the updates to the suspension system. However, it’s essential to find the right balance to avoid unpredictable behavior on tracks like Monza.
The latest enhancements in the core tyre model, realignment torque, sidewall damping, and flexibility have a noticeable impact on the Force Feedback, providing a truly immersive experience.
Additionally, the latest TC logic in modern cars offers greater control over tire slippage, but be careful not to lose control during acceleration and cause excessive tire wear.
Stay on top of your game by reviewing older setups and making necessary adjustments to avoid any undesirable handling effects and jacking.
