Kunos Simulazioni is proud to host the FIA Motorsport Games 2022 for the first time on Assetto Corsa Competizione (PC) where drivers will have the opportunity to challenge each other in a totally immersive context and carefully recreated details to ensure maximum realism.
How to join and when? Once the registration step has been completed, in Assetto Corsa Competizione under Special Event the sim drivers will find the Hotlap session to enter in. A Hotlap is a lap around a racetrack that is not part of a competition, giving drivers a chance to practice handling their vehicle on the track and achieve the best result.
The Hotlap Round will be held in three different steps and will last two weeks each: 15 July – 1 August, 5 – 22 August, 26 August – 12 September. Drivers will be able to race and record their fastest laps in all 3 hotlap sessions of Circuit Paul Ricard with the car that received the most votes during the Car Fan Vote: the Porsche 991II GT3 R.
The driver selected by their respective ASN will participate in the Esports Cup discipline, which will be held from the 27th to 29th of October in the Mistral Hall at the Paul Ricard Circuit as part of the FIA Motorsport Games.
Only the best valid laps completed on the track during the special event will be recorded in Official Leaderboard. It will be available on the esports.fiamotorsportgames.com website where it will be possible to filter the ranking by country and session. Users will also be able to read the complete regulations with driving assists and server settings chosen for the FIA Motorsport Games 2022 racing on Assetto Corsa Competizione.
